Hello, my name is Meli.
Thirty years ago, after enduring four years of war in Bosnia, I was fortunate to find a new home in the United States. This country gave me countless opportunities, and I am deeply grateful for the life I have built here.
Through Arizona Independent Living Homes, my partner Danny and I are dedicated to giving back to the community that welcomed me. We strive to create a warm, dignified, and supportive environment for our residents — just as I once received support during my own journey.
This is our way of paying forward the kindness, compassion, and opportunity that were given to me.
